Supporting New Immigrants on Their Journey Toward Stability and Opportunity

Starting a new life in a different country can be both exciting and overwhelming. Many new immigrants face challenges in finding employment, understanding financial systems, securing housing, and navigating unfamiliar processes — often without an established support network. At Amader Bangladesh Inc., we are committed to helping Bangladeshi immigrants build a strong foundation for a stable and successful future in the United States.

Our support programs are designed to provide practical guidance, professional development, and community connection during the important early stages of settlement and career growth.

Career & Job Readiness Support

We provide personalized career guidance and employment preparation tailored to the U.S. job market, including:

  • Résumé and cover letter workshops
  • LinkedIn profile development and optimization
  • One-on-one interview preparation and career coaching
  • Networking opportunities and professional development events
  • Job-matching assistance with employers familiar with and welcoming to the Bangladeshi community

Our goal is to help individuals gain confidence, improve employability, and successfully transition into meaningful careers.

Financial Literacy & Early Settlement Assistance

Adjusting to a new financial system can be challenging for many families and individuals. To support long-term financial stability, we offer:

  • Educational seminars on banking, budgeting, credit building, and financial planning in the U.S.
  • Free CPA-led tax assistance clinics every March
  • Guidance on understanding financial responsibilities and essential documentation
  • Limited emergency micro-grants of up to $500 to assist with first month’s rent or security deposits for qualifying individuals and families

These initiatives are intended to help new immigrants make informed financial decisions and reduce early settlement stress.

Resource Navigation & Community Guidance

Navigating legal, housing, and public service systems in a new country can often feel complicated and intimidating. We assist community members by helping connect them with trusted resources and information, including:

  • Support with housing applications and community resource referrals
  • Assistance understanding essential legal and administrative documents
  • Guidance on accessing available public and community services
  • Monthly “Know Your Rights” educational workshops conducted with immigration attorneys and community professionals

We aim to ensure that every newcomer feels informed, supported, and connected to reliable resources within the community.

Eligibility

This program is available to individuals who have arrived in the United States within the past 36 months and can provide proof of Bangladeshi origin, such as a passport, birth certificate, or National ID (NID).
